Dr Babu completed her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Otago, New Zealand, a specialist programme well regarded for its clinical depth, hospital-based training, and research foundations.
Before joining Collins Street Specialist Centre, she worked as a Senior Dental Registrar at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, Victoria's tertiary paediatric hospital and one of the largest paediatric dental services in Australia. Prior to that Melbourne appointment, she spent three years as a paediatric dentist in New Zealand, building a solid clinical foundation across a range of patient presentations and healthcare settings.
She is registered as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist with both the Dental Council of New Zealand and the Dental Board of Australia. Her specialist credentials are independently verifiable through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) public register.
